Why Detox Gives You More Muscle

“You’ve got to lose it all to get it all.” — Melanie Tonia Evans

One of the most common concerns I hear, usually from men, is regarding the fear of losing too much weight or muscle mass from doing a parasite cleanse. Detox is often a total shedding process both physically and energetically, and what is often forgotten is that, just like an old skin that is shed from an animal is replaced with a new, healthier more vibrant skin, the weight and baggage people lose is replaced by healthier muscle as tissues and cells are rejuvenated at a core level.

Ironically, losing parasites during a weight loss transition leads to an ability to build more muscle mass than previously, as the parasites that were stealing nutrients and tiring the body in immune defense responses make way for greater energy utilization and nutrient absorption.

Eating acid-forming foods that are popularized as 'muscle building’ foods such as chicken and eggs are usually only triggering inflammation which causes the appearance of greater muscle mass. The high blood pressure and dilated blood vessels create an artificially inflated state of health and strength, yet the organs underneath, particularly the bowels and kidneys are over-functioning and weakened.

A person can absorb much more protein (amino acids are what truly builds muscle) and have a very efficient and quick recovery time after workouts with almost no soreness at all once parasite-favored foods are eliminated from the diet. It is the energy that is absorbed from healthy foods and synthesized correctly that creates strength, and just like a gorilla that eats fruits, leaves and seeds can be massive and powerful, a human can do the same with patience and time.

“Everything comes in time to him (her) who knows how to wait . . . there is nothing stronger than these two: patience and time, they will do it all.” ― Leo Tolstoy
